Parking at Sydney Airport

Parking at the International Terminal, Terminal 1, is easy with a parking lot directly opposite the terminal. It offers quick access to both the Departures and Arrivals areas. There is a valet option for those in a hurry, or you can self-park and make the short walk. Prices are quite high- currently $15 for an hour and $52 for a day, with some special deals available occasionally which you can find at www.sydneyairport.com.au/go/car-parking.aspx.

Over at the domestic terminals, the main domestic car park is close to both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, and is best used for short trips or farewelling or welcoming home family and friends. You can also choose valet parking here, and rates are the same as at the International Terminal carpark, with different special deals.

The Blue Emu Car Park is located further away on Ross Smith Ave, and is better suited to those wanting to park long-term, with cheaper rates for those wanting to stay a day or more. There is a shuttle bus on a continual rotation every 10-15 minutes to the domestic terminals and the International Terminal.

Another parking option is an independent parking company such as Mascot Airport Parking (www.mascotairportparking.com.au). They offer undercover short and long term parking at rates as low as $12 a day if you are staying longer than 11 days. There is a free shuttle service to the airport and they are open from 5am to 11pm 7 days a week. Booking is required.
